Jana Coelho is GFM’s Office Manager and is resident in GFM’s
Florida Office. Jana earned her Associates degree from Broward
College and her B.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies with a minor in
Criminal Justice at Florida Atlantic University. Jana is a Florida
Registered Paralegal with the Florida Bar. However, Jana plans
to continue her studies and attend law school.
Originally from Brazil, Jana moved to the United States when
she was 8 years old. Jana found a passion for language arts in
high school and is multi-lingual. Jana speaks fluent Portuguese
and Spanish and is conversational in French as well.
Prior to joining GFM in 2018, Jana’s legal career began as a
receptionist for an insurance defense firm in South Florida. Jana
has more than 15 years of experience as a Personal Injury Paralegal and is skilled in all aspects
of that practice area, from intake to settlement in both pre-litigation and litigation. Having the
knowledge of once working with an insurance defense firm and being multi-lingual helps her
understand every client’s needs. In addition, Jana is an experienced Class Action, EB-5 Fraud
and Commercial Litigation paralegal. Jana takes great pride in helping members of the Latin and
Brazilian communities feel at home at GFM.
Jana is a very proud mother, and her son Logan is her pride and joy. Jana loves to help her
community, especially when it comes to being involved with her son’s school. Jana is the former
secretary of the Monarch High School Parents Teacher Student Association (PTSA) and was the
Vice-President of the Monarch Knights Football Booster Club. In 2023, she was recognized and
awarded for her outstanding volunteer service at Monarch High School.
Jana loves sports and is a diehard fan of the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox. Jana
loves to travel, especially to Foxborough, Massachusetts to watch the Patriots play, and discover
new places. Jana’s favorite quote and life lesson is “Sometimes our biggest lessons, comes from
our biggest losses.”
